I have been breastfeeding for two and a half months and I plan to go back to work, but I would like to know what bottle is most like the breast nipple and does not give the baby colic? WHat bottle is most like the breast??What do you all think about Avent and Soothie bottles? I like Soothie because it has a small nipple but I have heard Avent is better for not giving baby colic. What bottle did all you breastfeeding mothers like???

My baby is still seriously gassy even being on alimentum getting mylicon 0.6 with every bottle and then colic calm when even the mylicon can’t help his gas. When will this start to ease up and what should i do or change.

He has already been on the similac advance, sensitive and soy.

I have Dr brown’s bottles their great for the colic but bad with leaks. They wet everything in my diaper bag and on the bed. I’ve tried everything you name it. I don’t fill it past the line (even after mixing the formula). Not tightening the cap too loose or too tight. Checking if there’s milk inside the straw. Checking if the nipple is crooked. Putting the plastic circle cover under the nipple. EVERYTHING! It’s really frustrating, so I just need suggestions on the best leak proof bottles. Not more ideas about what I could try with the Dr brown’s I refuse to use those anymore thanks.

On a consistent basis, my 2 month old will take the first 1-2 ounces easily, but then will squirm and cry. I burp him and try to continue the feed, but he just cries and refuses the bottle. He is close to 13 pounds and I can’t imagine that he is full from 2 ounces (especially since it happens during most feedings during the day). If he fusses like this, I try to distract him and change his diaper and sometimes am able to get him to drink more, and sometimes finish the bottle, while he is lying on his back on the changing table. The only time that he doesn’t fuss at the bottle is when he is half asleep. I wouldn’t be concerned about this if it only happened once or twice a day, but it happens at the majority of the feedings. It is so frustrating and the whole feeding process lasts a long time. I don’t want to force him to eat if he is full, but since it happens so often, I feel like there is another reason for the crying. Anyone else experience this, and know what is going on?

My son will soon be nine month’s old- too young for a cup. Unfortunately drinking out of playtex bottles hasnt really worked for him and he developed colic and reflux. Besides which it is a hassle to regularly buy the cups drop in inserts and they tend to leak into any bag or container they are stored in.

does anyone know where i can get some good coupons for the ventaire, or dr browns bottles? I really like using these bottles, but they are quite pricey. some coupons would really help! or if you know anyother bottles that work well for colic but are cheaper let me know too!!! thanks soo much

I have a 2 month old and I am trying to switch her to bottles. I tried regular bottles, and she was very very fussy. So I went and go Dr. Brown’s bottle, it worked well for a while but I think she does not like the nipple. So NOW, I went and got AVENT, Born Free, and a Gerber NUK Bottle. All BPA free.
My baby will not get used to the avent bottle and I just bought Born Free and Gerber Nuk today…

What are your experiences with these bottles?, I have bought so many bottles for colic and fussing and whatever is easier to move from breastfeeding to bottles, but I feel like im losing my mind because she is rejecting most of them….My last hope so far is born free and Gerber NUK….anybody know anything about these?..I need some hope!

i am due in few weeks and planning to alternate between breastfeeding and bottlefeeding, there are so many choices out there that i cant make up my mind, but i heard that the playtex ventaire bottles are good coz they reduce colic and gas as their bent shape help reduce the air trapped in the bottle, what do u think??

I’m just wondering what bottle worked out best for you? Dr. Brown’s, Playtex Aire Vent, or another type of vented bottle? Please no rude answers, thank you.

Why son’s colic is progressively getting worst. It is pretty much unbearable I feel so bad for him because I know he is in pain and to see him throw up everything he eats is pretty horrible. So they already switched his formula to Isomil but i was wondering what bottles I should use in order to help out his Colic.

If i chould i would use Dr brown baby bottles, but i live in Australia and they don’t sell them type of bottles here, yes they look like aweseome bottles for colic..

My son is 4 1/2 months old, and is quite the fussy one! Sometimes I wonder if he’s colicy. Anyway, I bought those Playtex bottles with the drop in bags, because I heard that those were good. I don’t know if it’s the nipple or what, but he doesn’t seem to like these new bottles.

What do you think are the best bottles for reducing colic?

i have a 1 month old baby and he seems to have colics at night time and i am trying to do anything to relieve his pain. I heard of lullaband on youtube and am just wondering if anyone has used it and if it really works?
