I’ll use yesterday as an example. My baby who is almost 13 weeks (and breastfed) did not cry yesterday until 6pm. She goes from happy baby to crying until she turns red in the face all in a split second. Is this colic? The way she’s crying you would think that she’s in pain, but all of a sudden she stops, then starts again. Do colic babies cry like this? I’ve tried gripe water, does not help one bit. I will try Ovol after the next feeding (in about half hour).

Have anyone used "Happi Tummi Natural Colic Relief Waistband" for babies with colic? If so, do you think it really helps the baby?? Please advise! Thanks!

No not this tea licorice tea would work best, but only a mild solution. never give newborns any thing with bergomot in it. Ginger would help if you have it in your cabinet, boil it for 3 minute and mix with an equal amount of water to weaken it then give it a teaspoon only. put a warm towel on its stomach and keep it warm, it helps and get it to burp more rub his back, don’t let him eat too fast that will cause colic, he’s swallowing too much air, when he eats. Call your doctor and get help from their office.

The paediatrician prescribed telament drops for my 6 weeks old child struggling with colic, but it seems to not work at all.

I’ve tried baby massages, walking and patting, etc sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. I feel so bad for her because she kicks and screams from pain.
I am breastfeeding, i was told that it might be my diet? I was also told about gripe water. The doctor prescribed telament drops and this potent elixer stuff but it doesnt always seem effective. Im scared of using gripe water as it neutralises the stomach acid but ultimately prevents the stomach acid from doing its job of digesting the milk.

I try the massaging and the hot baths but it only works some of the time, so i feel like i’m exhausting my options

My 4 week old baby girl has Colic. I was wondering what foods I should eliminate out of my diet that can help the colic because I breastfeed. And if anyone has any really good advice on helping my little one through this tough time to ease it along please help me out. Is there anything that I can be doing to help her calm down when she is crying? The swing doesn’t help when she crying. Please help me out, Thanks!

What works for you and your baby? I’ve tried all the things from the baby books and the websites and some help a little but I’m looking for other ideas to try as well. Little tricks that might work for other baby’s that haven’t been mentioned in all the books.
